How Lumi Began
A Cozy Afternoon Tea
The story of Lumi began during a cozy afternoon tea. We both love tiramisu, but the traditional tiramisu we bought often has a strong coffee flavor and, in some recipes, contains alcohol — not shareable with our children. This puzzle sparked our thoughts: why couldn't we create a tiramisu for the whole family to share together?
From Friends' Kitchens to a Dream
Since that day, we started experimenting with recipes and flavors — making, tasting, adjusting — until we created the tiramisu we were truly excited to share. We began offering it to friends and neighbors. Seeing them enjoy our desserts and share them with their own families gave us the confidence to dream a little bigger.
A Small Idea, Shared Widely
We realized that perhaps this small idea could bring joy to many more people. This is what we hope Lumi can become — a tiramisu made not just for us, but for every family looking for a moment to share together.
